CHURCH CREEK, Md. (ABC7) — The new Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad State Park and Visitor Center will open this Saturday, March 11 in Church Creek, Maryland.
Events are free and open to the public on March 11 and 12, and the center features an exhibit hall, museum store, and research library, according to a release from the Maryland Department of Natural Resources.
The center is located at 4068 Golden Hill Road in Church Creek.

Tubman was a legendary abolitionist known for her work as a freedom fighter, leader, and liberator, the release adds.
