WASHINGTON (ABC7) — D.C. Fire and EMS responded to an indoor gas leak in Northwest D.C. on Tuesday morning.
Officials say a gas line ruptured inside the building located at the 700 block of 15th Street Northwest.
The building involved is a 10-story structure currently under construction.
D.C. Fire and EMS evacuated all buildings on the even side of the block.
The Secret Service has closed Pennsylvania Avenue Northwest from 15th through 17th Street.
Officials say the leak is now under control by Washington Gas. D.C. Fire and EMS are currently ventilating impacted buildings.
