STERLING, Va. (7NEWS) — Friday, Bishop Michael F. Burbidge, Catholic Diocese of Arlington, will participate in a ribbon cutting and bless Catholic Charities’ new Loudoun Regional Office (LRO) and food pantry in Sterling, Virginia.
This food pantry was relocated from its longtime Leesburg location, which has two other pantries, to fill a food gap in the Sterling area.
It provides fresh food, including fresh produce, dairy, and meat, as well as traditional staples such as cereal, canned vegetables, rice,and beans.
The pantry currently helps those experiencing food insecurity in Loudoun County, but will soon offer additional services, including emergency rent and utility assistance, adoption services and legal services for immigrants and refugees in the coming months
The new pantry is open Monday through Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The new location is 113 Executive Drive, Building #2, Suite 110, Sterling, VA 20166. Please note it is located at the end of Executive Drive. Make left after Penske and immediate right into parking lot. Currently, “Google Maps” app has accurate directions.
