COOKSVILLE, Md. (ABC7) — Firefighters battled a blaze at a three-story home early Saturday morning in Cooksville, Md.
According to the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services, heavy fire was detected in the second floor and attic, and it took firefighters an hour to extinguish most of the fire, and an additional three hours to open up ceilings and walls to put out "hot spots."
Fire officials said there was no one at home during the incident, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
