FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (ABC7) — A barn in Fairfax County has burned down after catching fire early Tuesday morning, according to the Fairfax County Fire Department.
No people or animals were injured in the fire as the barn was being used as a storage unit. Firefighters were dispatched to the scene at around 3:30 a.m.
Fire officials say this is the second time they have responded to a fire at this barn since last week. According to Fairfax County Fire, they responded to a call of a fire at the barn on June 14 around 2:10 a.m. Only the barn's roof caught fire then and firefighters were able to contain it. Fire investigators determined that fire was caused by accident.
The barn's owner has said that the barn's power was turned off at the time of this fire.
Fire officials say they are still working to determine what the cause of this latest fire is.
