Washington, D.C. (ABC7) — A Black menswear flash mob is coming to D.C. Saturday in an effort to promote positivity and promote positive images of Black men in America.
NeAndre Broussard is the man behind the Black Menswear campaign. He hopes to use style to change the cultural narrative of Black men.
"What we try to do is put a lot more positivity around the black man through our platform," Broussard says.

Broussard feels that the media oftentimes portrays Black men in a negative light, so the flash mob is an effort to change that narrative and improve the image of Black men.
So far the flash mob has covered Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Tampa, and D.C.
Black Menswear has planned a flash mob of over 300 men for a Saturday photoshoot at the Lincoln Memorial. The event is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m.
