Falling trees do significant damage to multiple homes in D.C.

A number of large trees have fallen on homes in D.C. Sunday, doing significant damage as the rain and stormy weather continue to pelt the DMV.

DC Fire and EMS said one massive tree crashed through a house in the 3400 block Texas Avenue, SE, but left no one injured.

Another large tree fell in Georgetown, landing on two cars and ripping the gutters off a townhouse in the 1400 block of 36th Street, NW. No one was hurt in that incident, either.

The fire department reported a third large tree brought down wires in the 3300 block Upland Terrace, NW.
