Fairfax Co. Fire: Lorton townhouse is a total loss after 2-alarm fire

Fairfax Co. Fire says a townhouse is a total loss after a two-alarm fire that happened early Friday morning.

Fire crews say all three floors were on fire in the middle unit townhouse when they arrived at 1:42 a.m. to the 8500 block of Koluder Ct.

The fire also extended into the attic of a townhouse next door, officials say.

Fire officials say there was no one home when the fire broke out.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation and it is not known if there were working smoke alarms in the house.

According to officials, damages are approximately $219,400.
