Amanda Childress, woman missing for nearly a month, may have head injury: Fairfax police

Fairfax City Police are still searching for information Tuesday on the disappearance of Amanda Childress, 43, who may have also been the victim of an assault.

The department offered a different photo of Childress.

Investigators said the assault may have happened in the 10400 block of Eaton Place on March 6.

Childress is 5'6" and 165 pounds.

Police said she may have dyed her hair black or brown prior to her disappearance.

She may also be suffering from a head injury, according to investigators.
