D.C. police ask for public's help locating man connected with homicide of 25-year-old man

D.C. police are asking for the public's help locating 30-year-old Leonard Martino Smith in connection with the homicide of 25-year-old Leonte Butler.

According to police, Butler was stabbed to death on Saturday, March 11 in the 4000 block of South Capitol Street, SE.

Police say Smith is wanted on a D.C. Superior Court arrest warrant for second degree murder while armed in connection with Butler's stabbing death.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at (202) 727-9099. D.C. police offer a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction of homicides that take place in D.C.
