WASHINGTON (WJLA) — The Central Union Mission in D.C. is asking for the public's help to make the Christmas holidays a little brighter for hundreds of local children.
This Saturday, the non-profit organization will give out to presents but are seeking additional donations.
Last year, the Central Union distributed 2,200 presents, but this year donations have been low. So far, they have received 700 donations but working to increase that number.
Gifts will be accepted until the end of the week. They can be dropped off from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Family Ministry Center.
