DC Mayor's race: Poll commissioned by Robert White shows close race between him, Bowser
D.C. Mayoral Candidate Robert White says a poll he commissioned shows he is in a statistical tie with Mayor Muriel Bowser, as next Tuesday's D.C. Democratic primary approaches.
WASHINGTON, DC (7News) — D.C. Mayoral candidate Robert White says a poll he commissioned shows he is in a statistical tie with Mayor Muriel Bowser, as next Tuesday's D.C. Democratic primary approaches.
His poll, conducted last week by Lake Research Partners, show Bowser 41%, Robert White 37%, Trayon White 6% and undecided 15%.
His polls number contrast sharply with a Washington Post poll from February.

He also released his private poll from last March which shows Trayon White with only 5% support, while the February Post poll showed Trayon White with 17% support, just two points behind Robert White.
Robert White says his latest poll shows he has the momentum going into Tuesday’s contest.
