Approximately 800,000 federal workers are feeling the impact of the partial government shutdown as it enters a 19th day.

With so many federal employees working without pay, members of Congress are advocating for those workers.

On Wednesday, Democrats used one of President Trump's talking points from his Oval Office address against him saying he has created a humanitarian crisis for federal workers and government contractors.

During his Tuesday night address, Trump said there was a humanitarian crisis at the southern border when stating his case for funding for a border wall.

ABC7's Drew Wilder has more on this story in the above video.
