Charles County deputies say body found in wooded area between 2 Waldorf businesses

WALDORF, Md. (ABC7) — Charles County deputies said they were performing a death investigation Sunday afternoon after a body was found between two Waldorf businesses near Plaza Way.

According to the sheriff's office, deputies were called to respond around 10:45 a.m. after the body of an adult male was found in a small wooded area between two businesses.

Officials say the death investigation is happening near the Bob Evans located at 3345 Crain Hwy in Waldorf.

Investigators are still looking into the circumstances and deputies continue to investigate.
