Car linked to quintuple shooting that left girl, 10, dead found in P.G. County, police say

Metropolitan Police report they have found the car connected to a shooting that left 10-year-old Makiyah Wilson dead in Prince George's County.

Investigators say they're seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating the shooters responsible in the incident.

On Monday night, four black men wearing masks reportedly exited a black four-door sedan with paper tags, and opened fire on 15 to 20 people in the community, according to investigators.

Wilson, a man, and woman were found at the scene of the shooting in the 300 block of 53rd Street in Northeast Washington.

All three were transported to an area hospital, where Wilson later died. Police said two other men were treated at a local hospital.

A vigil will be held Saturday, July 21 in the 300 block of 53rd Street, NE, the location where Makyah Wilson was shot and killed

Wilson's funeral will be Wednesday, July 25 with a time and place to be determined today, according to ABC7's Anna-Lysa Gayle.

Surveillance cameras captured images of a black Infiniti four-door sedan, missing a rear bumper, at the scene.

Detectives returned to the scene of the shooting Tuesday to search for additional evidence.

Metropolitan Police are offering a $25,000 reward for information on the shooting.
