Ben's Chili Bowl reveals new faces on its famous mural

WASHINGTON (WJLA) - Ben's Chili Bowl revealed new faces on its iconic mural Friday afternoon.

The mural is going from four to 16 faces.

According to the Washingtonian, the 16-person mural includes, in no particular order:

1. Muhammad Ali
2. Marion Barry
3. Chuck Brown
4. Dave Chappelle
5. Roberta Flack
6. Dick Gregory
7. Taraji P. Henson
8. Eleanor Holmes Norton
9. Barack Obama
10. Michelle Obama
11. Russ Parr
12. Prince
13. Donnie Simpson
14. Harriet Tubman
15. Jim Vance
16. Wale

In January, Ben's asked the public to vote on who they wanted to see on the mural.

Ben's owner, Virginia Ali, says more than 20,000 people voted on who should be on the wall.

No date has been set for the official completion of the mural, but ABC7 News is told there will be a formal unveiling and dedication on a later date.
