ARLINGTON, Va. (ABC7) — Workers reportedly struck a gas line causing a gas leak Friday morning in Arlington.

Fire officials say there were no reports of injuries and the leak is under control.

Several people returned to buildings in the area after being evacuated because of the gas leak.

Washington Gas crews responded to the scene to manage the gas leak.

The incident took place in the 1700 block of Arlington Boulevard.
