ARLINGTON, Va. (ABC7) — Arlington County police are searching for a suspect who stabbed a female Saturday evening in Rosslyn.
Police said the stabbing occurred in the 1600 block of Fort Myer Drive around 6:47 p.m. when an unknown male approached a female walking in the area and stabbed her. He then fled the scene on foot.
The female victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, where she is in stable condition, according to police.
The suspect – who was captured on a surveillance camera – is described as a 5-foot-10, 160-pound black male who was wearing a long black trench coat and white hat at the time of the incident.
