WASHINGTON (7News) — An Amber Alert has been issued for a 1-year-old girl and 2-year-old boy police say were abducted by their father, Timothy Truitt and last seen leaving a Hampton, Va. Walmart Monday afternoon around 2:30 p.m, Hampton Police Department said.
Police said, while in the Walmart, Timothy Truitt separated himself and the children from their legal guardian and left the store with an unknown man. He was last seen in a maroon four-door sedan. He could also be operating a 2004 maroon Chevy Suburban, displaying VA license plates, USN20YR.
The 1-year-old girl, Adriana Truitt is described as a white female with sandy hair and blue eyes. She is about 2 foot 0 inches tall and weighs about 30 pounds. Police said she was last seen wearing a white long-sleeve onesie, gray sweatpants and red, white, blue baseball socks.
And the 2-year-old boy, identified as Jaxon Truitt is described as a biracial male with brown hair and brown eyes. He's about 3 foot 0 inches tall and weighs25 lbs, police said. He was last seen wearing a long sleeve black shirt with "Born to win" in red text, black sweatpants, and gray and blue sneakers.
Timothy Truitt is described as a white man with brown hair, brown eyes, and 6 foot 1 inch tall. Police said he weighs about 175 pounds and was last seen wearing a black shirt with a yellow logo on chest, gray shorts, and white shoes
