PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (7News) — Several Eleanor Roosevelt High School students were speechless Tuesday morning when Amazon and Prince George's County Public Schools (PGCPS) surprised them with scholarships.
Amazon and Prince George's County Public Schools (PGCPS) surprised the seven students with the news that they were selected as Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship recipients.

As the Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship recipients, each student received a $40,000 scholarship ($10,000/year) towards an undergraduate degree in engineering or computer science and an offer to complete a summer internship at Amazon.
Amazon said 400 students across the country, including the seven Greenbelt students, received the opportunity for future engineers.
