**ABC7 will be live streaming this event right here starting at 6:59 Saturday night.

ABC7 and Prince George's County Public Schools are teaming up to honor the county's graduates, who are missing out on the typical senior year experience due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The virtual event will be aired on Saturday, May 30 at 7 p.m., WJLA 24/7 (Comcast 808, FiOS 508, DirecTV/DISH 8, Charge 7.2), and an encore ceremony will air on ABC7 on Sunday, May 31 at noon.

The commencement speaker will be Taraji P. Henson, a 1988 graduate of Oxon Hill High School. Other special guest alums will include R&B singer Kenny Lattimore, a PGCPS Alumni Hall of Fame inductee, radio host/comedian Joe Clair, NFL cornerback Joe Haden and local news anchor Taylor Thomas.

"I know this is not the same as walking across the stage on graduation day," Prince George's County Schools CEO Dr. Monica Goldson said in a statement. "I am working with the Board of Education to give our students that moment once these restrictions are lifted. Until then, I want them to feel our PGCPS pride in their accomplishments, the unstoppable Class of 2020."
