28-year-old man fatally shot in Southeast D.C.
WASHINGTON (ABC7) —
A 28-year-old man was fatally shot Saturday night in Southeast Washington.
D.C. police said officers responding to the 1600 block of U Street, SE around 9:20 p.m. found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The decedent has been identified as 28-year-old Henry Isaacs, of Southeast.
Isaacs is the 120th homicide of the year in D.C. The 121st homicide happened shortly after midnight when a man was fatally shot in Northeast D.C.
Last year, there were only 84 homicides in D.C.
Police said they are offering a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction in the case. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099 or send a text message to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
