WOODBRIDGE, Va. (7News) — A 15-year-old student allegedly brought a stun gun to a Prince William County school last Friday, police said.
A school resource officer was notified at 8 a.m. by school security that a female student had an "electroshock weapon" at Freedom High School, located at 15201 Neabsco Mills Road in Woodbridge, Virginia.

School security said they found three students in the bathroom and began investigating. During the investigation, they found the stun gun. The SRO determined the weapon was never pulled out or used in a threatening way.
While police initially sought charges, the case will be handled through juvenile court.
