Maryland State Police: 100+ crashes, 60 disabled vehicles reported overnight

Maryland State Police say they responded to 101 crashes overnight Monday between the hours of 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Thankfully, no fatalities or serious crashes have been reported.

In addition to the crashes, police say 60 vehicles were disabled between those hours.

In Virginia, state police report there were 15 crashes between midnight to 7 a.m. with no injuries.

Leading up to Monday night's winter storm, officials warned residents to stay off the roads if at all possible and freezing rain in the immediate DC Metro area has led to slick conditions.
