A man was arrested as members of the "Unite the Right 2" rally boarded Metro in Vienna, Virginia, on their way to D.C.

Donald Franklin Georgette, 30, of Washington, D.C., was arrested and charged with simple assault after authorities said he spit on two Virginia State Police officers around 2:30 p.m. at the Vienna Metro station.

The man was arrested as the group entered the south entrance of the Vienna Metro station. Neither Fairfax County Police or Virginia State Police knew if the man was a counter-protester or a supporter of the rally.
