DC Veg Fest
An event just for all you veggie lovers is back in our area! DC Veg Fest is almost two weeks away. And the founder of Dam Good Vegan, Danni McGhee was here to give us all the deets. She made a delicious vegan "grab" dip. Recipe is below.
DAM Good Vegan
1 can Hearts of Palm, drained
1 cup Rainbow Bell Peppers, diced
1/5 cup Red Onion, diced
2 Nori Sheets, shredded
1 cup Oat Flour
1 tablespoon Flax Seeds, grounded
3/4 cup Vegan Mayo
1/4 cup Dijon Mustard
1.5 tablespoon Old Bay Seasoning
1 teaspoon Lemon Juice, optional
Add hearts of palm to a food processor and pulse until desired "crab" texture is achieved. Add the rest of the ingredients to the food processor and slowly pulse ingredients until fully incorporated. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve with vegan crackers or organic corn chips. Enjoy!
