Taylor Swift to debut 'Delicate' video at iHeartRadio Awards
(WENN) - Taylor Swift will premiere the music video for her next single "Delicate" at iHeartRadio Music Awards Sunday.
The "Shake It Off" singer announced her next video would be premiering live during the ceremony on social media Monday by sharing a close-up video of a piece of paper, which she unfolds to reveal the message, "Delicate Music Video World Premiere Sunday, March 11, iHeartRadio Music Awards," as the tune plays in the background.
It is not known if Taylor, who has avoided red carpet events for more than a year, will attend the show, which will take place at The Forum in Inglewood, California.
She was a no-show at the MTV Video Music Awards in August 2017 despite premiering the video for Look What You Made Me Do, the lead single off her album "Reputation."
However, unlike the VMAs, Taylor is a multiple iHeartRadio nominee. She is up for Female Artist of the Year, Best Fan Army, Best Music Video and Best Lyrics for "Look What You Made Me Do," while her cat Olivia Benson is nominated for Cutest Musician's Pet.
When Reputation was released in November, many fans and members of the press guessed that Delicate was about her current boyfriend, British actor Joe Alwyn, thanks to lyrics such as, "My reputation's never been worse, so you must like me for me."
It will mark the fourth music video she's released from "Reputation," following ..."Ready For It?" and "End Game."
DJ Khaled and Hailey Baldwin are set to host the awards, which will include performances by Camila Cabello, Ed Sheeran, Cardi B, Charlie Puth, Maroon 5, as well as Bon Jovi, the recipients of the evening's Icon Award.
