OJ Simpson lost 100 pounds while in prison
WASHINGTON (Sinclair Broadcast Group) -- Former NFL star OJ Simpson lost 100 pounds while in prison in order to look fit after his release.
When Simpson first began his stint, the Hall of Famer was known for snacking on Little Debbie cakes, ice cream and candy bars. At one point, he weighed more than 300 pounds.
"OJ loved eating what is known in the prison as 'carnival food' - hamburgers, hot dogs and corn dogs without the stick in it," an insider told The Daily Mail.
But as his date towards freedom approached, Simpson began to exercise more often and changed his diet. He began to eat a chicken patty and low carb vegetables.
Simpson was able to lose weight with the help of another inmate, Craig Titus, a former bodybuilder. Titus is in jail after being charged with second degree murder, arson and kidnapping.
Simpson was most recently seen playing golf with friends. He also posed for pictures and shook hands with fellow golfers.
