Prince George's County Police arrested and charged 22-year-old Deonte Carraway with multiple counts of making child pornography, and child sex abuse. Today, investigators said they know of at least 10 victims, between the ages of nine and 13.

ABC 7 spoke with a Glenarden mother who says her son was one of them. Carraway was Director of the Glenarden Community Choir her son was part of. We did not reveal her identity.

"My son was a part of the choir, and this was a man I trusted with my child," she told ABC7. "'It has to be hard, very hard."

County School Officials say that in 2014 Carraway worked briefly as a school secretary at Glenarden Woods Elementary and as an aide at Judge Sylvania Woods Elementary.

Police say he was a volunteer at that same school this year. And it is at Judge Sylvania Woods Elementary School where police believe he made some of the 40 videos they have recovered.

"We believe that Carraway targeted his young victims and videotaped vile sexual acts between minors during the school day, on school grounds," Police Spokesman Julie Parker said today at a press conference.

"Detectives believe sex abuse or child porn videos were also produced at the Glenarden Municipal Center and the Theresa Banks Memorial Aquatic Center as well as inside private homes."

Investigators say Carraway used the "KIK" messenger app to communicate with his victims. An uncle of one of the victims spotted nude pictures on that app and went to police last Thursday.

Carraway's family declined to speak on his behalf, but his neighbor had this to say off-camera.

"I'd be really shocked for something like that," they said. "He's a really nice guy, supportive of all the children...no...not him."
