Police searching for pants-less man accused of sexually assaulting woman in Rockville

Montgomery County police are searching and looking to identify a pants-less man who a woman said sexually assaulted her in Rockville earlier this week.

The woman told police she was sitting outside of an apartment complex talking on her cell phone in the 200 block of Rollins Avenue around 11 p.m. Monday when the suspect grabbed her forcibly by her shirt and attempted to remove her pants. But she fought back and the suspect fled from the scene in an unknown direction.

The suspect was described as 5-foot-7 Asian man in his mid-30s with a husky build, broad face with a wide jawline, acne on his cheeks, black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a tan baseball hat, a tan T-shirt and no pants.

A computer-generated composite of the man was also released by Montgomery County police.

Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest and/or indictment of the suspect.
