FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (ABC7) — Police are continuing an investigation into the murder of a Fairfax County Public School teacher's aide in Alexandria, Virginia in May 2016. A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered by authorities for information.
Tarreece "TJ" John Sampson, 24, was shot multiple times in the parking lot of the Cityside Huntington Metro Apartments where he lived. The apartment complex is located in the 6000 block of Richmond Highway.
Sampson was found by police unresponsive in the parking lot and died at the scene.
Sampson was a part-time teacher's aide at Fort Hunt Elementary School in Fairfax County. He graduated from Iona College in New York with a bachelor's degree in Marketing, and was working to become a youth mentor at his church
A composite sketch of a woman was released by police, who they believed may have information about the shooting.
According to police, the woman was seen in the parking lot before Sampson was murdered. She was described as black with a light complexion and almond-shaped eyes.
