A 22-year-old man has been charged for allegedly stabbing another man outside of a 7-Eleven in a gang-related assault in Nov. 2017 in Woodbridge.

Deybi Preczadis Meza Soto was arrested on April 5. He was charged with aggravated malicious wounding and gang participation, according to Prince William County Police.

Authorities arrested a 17-year-old boy in January and charged him with assault and battery and gang participation.

Police say a 25-year-old man sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the incident.

Police say the man was inside a 7-Eleven when Soto and the teen approached him. The duo demanded the man give them his shoes.

According to investigators, when the man refused, Soto and the teen left the 7-Eleven. As the man exited the store, one of the attackers ran by him, and stabbed the victim with an "unknown edged object."

Prince William County Police say one of them attempted to stab the man a second time and yelled "gang affiliations" during the assault.

Soto and the teen left the scene in a black car, and investigators say the man drove himself home and called police. The assault occurred on 13990 Jefferson Davis Hwy.
