Police: 2 injured, Metro bus struck during double shooting in Southeast DC

Two males were injured and a Metro bus was hit during a double-shooting early Friday morning in Southeast Washington.

Metropolitan Police do not have information on the condition of the unidentified males at this time.

There were no reports of injuries after the bus was struck by the gunshot.

The shooting happened in the 2900 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, SE.

Investigators report the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, SE at Malcolm X Avenue has reopened, but the 600 block of Malcolm X Avenue remains closed until further notice.
