Two men wearing hoodies are wanted for an armed robbery at a post office earlier this week in Oxon Hill, Maryland.

On Wednesday, Nov. 2, the robbers walked into the post office and demanded money from employees. One of the men pulled out a gun and hopped over the counter carrying a black backpack. Postal officials say the incident took place on 6316 Oxon Hill Road.

Both men left the post office and drove off in a dark-colored Toyota Camry with "five-spoke wheels" and a spoiler on the trunk lid, according to postal officials.

The men are described as black and approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall with average builds. One man was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt with dark pants, and the other man had on a gray hooded sweatshirt.

Post Office officials are asking anyone who has information on the robbery to contact Postal Inspectors at 877-876-2455. Information can also be submitted via email to or text "USPIS" plus your tip to TIP411 (874411).
