This week at the United Nations General Assembly session, President Trump stood strong as a leader not only for the United States but for the world.

Despite Democrats’ sad attempts to overshadow his meetings and his major address on Tuesday with empty impeachment talk, the president’s message was clear: “if you want freedom, take pride in your country.” Just think about that for a second.

Success begins at home, right?

I am thankful that we have a president who takes pride in being an American and wants the best for America.

That has been evidenced throughout this presidency by fair trade deals, national security and border strength, tax cuts and deregulation.

Just this week, Honduras became the third Central American country to agree on a deal to reduce pressure on our stressed asylum system. On trade, Japan agreed to open its markets to $7 billion worth of American agricultural products.

Under President Trump, scores of outsourced jobs have come back to the US, unemployment has fallen to historic lows, wages have risen, and 2.5 million Americans have been lifted from poverty.

Here’s the bottom line: In the midst of a biased media and frivolous impeachment inquiry, President Trump delivered at the UNGA. We should be celebrating the president’s accomplishments, because as Americans, these are all our successes too.
