Officer Arthur Douglas and Chairman Robert Pittman talk Beat the Streets campaign
WASHINGTON (ABC7) —
For nearly a decade, Beat the Streets has brought concerts, cookouts and a clutch of booths on health, education and safety issues to summer parties meant to strengthen ties between police and the residents they serve. This year, Beat the Streets is working even harder to strengthen, nurture and reinforce those positive relationships formed over past years. School Resource Officer Arthur Douglas and MPD 1D Citizens Advisory Council Chairman Robert Pittman spoke about the importance of community policing. (ABC7) For more information about, go here.
