Raising awareness of mental health resources for minorities
WASHINGTON (ABC7) —
July is Minority Mental Health Awareness Month and this weekend suicide survivor and mental health advocate T-Kea Blackman is partnering with the National Alliance on Mental Illness of Prince George’s County to raise awareness about mental health wellness for children of color. T-Kea Blackman joined us today alongside Paul Bashea Williams, founder of Hearts in Mind Counseling. They shared why it is important to create a safe space for our young ones.
