The Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) is issuing a warning about certain top-loading Samsung washing machines blamed in a series of fires across the country.

A consumer bought one of the washing machines and it exploded. In North Carolina, another consumer said her washing machine "flew apart."

In early 2015, 21 people reported to the CPSC that their top-loading Samsung washing machines have exploded or blown apart, ABC7 News learned.

ABC7 News Consumer Reporter Kimberly Suiters has more on this story.
