All the partying, all the gift giving and receiving, all the shopping — well, you might be tired of all the shopping at this point.

Super shopper Trae Bodge from Slickdeals is never tired of helping us find savings.

As we turn the calendar on a new year and new month, here's Trae's list of the best things to buy in January:

We have white sales that we've been seeing since the 1800s, courtesy of department store magnate John Wannamker who decreed every January that sheets, towels, and pillows would go on sale. This year is no exception.

We found savings up to 50 percent off at Pottery Barn, Macy's and JC Penney.

Then, there's men's apparel with savings of $100 to $500 on suits with deep discounts on shirts, ties and slacks.

Bodge also says, "In January, people are trying to start the year off right and take care of themselves, so you'll find good deals on gym memberships, fitness apparel and leading up to the Super Bowl, there are a lot of TV deals.”

You'll find the best TV deals closer to the big game February 7th.

Things not to buy this month — toys.
