WASHINGTON (SBG) – Everyone's favorite pocket-sized toy from the '90s is continuing to make a comeback.

Bandai America is releasing a new kind of Tamagotchi On called "Wonder Garden" that features new characters and two shades to choose from: lavender and turquoise.

"Through research, we've learned that 67% of users play their Tamagotchi On device with a friend and that 96% of all Tamagotchi users love the device so much that they'd likely purchase a new version," said Tara Badie. "That's why we continue to innovate and bring new products to the market. There's no slowing down for Tamagotchi!"

This follows the successful release of Tamagotchi On back in 2019.

The pre-sale is happening now online through Target, Amazon, WalMart, GameStop, Best Buy and Entertainment Earth. Fans can buy the new Tamagotchi device at retailers nationwide starting July 26.
