CHARLES COUNTY, Md. —

Charles County deputies say one man is dead and two men were injured after a triple shooting that happened in Waldorf Monday evening. 

According to the police department, the shooting happened in the area of 2400 Shawnee Lane. 

Deputies say they found one adult victim with critical injuries on scene and two other shooting victims in a car nearby on Acton Lane near Western Parkway. 

One man died was pronounced dead on the scene and two men were sent to the hospital to be treated, deputies say. 

There is no word on a description of the suspect(s) at this time as deputies continue to investigate.
