Our amazing seasonal defiance continues as yesterday's 63 degree high - { }a whopping 20 degrees above normal - was yet another exceptional day in{ }this winter of our warm content.{ } Today will be similarly delightful with highs again near 60 under mostly sunny skies.{ } Westerly breezes up to 25 mph will shift in the overnight hours however as a cold front moves in from the Ohio Valley.{ } While no precipitation is expected from the frontal passage, Sunday will be a cooler day with highs in the upper 40s;{ } still, it will be milder than your usual January 8th!{ } With cold Canadian air continuing to stay in its country of origin, the coming week will feature more relatively mild days with highs in the upper 40s and low 50s.{ } The next chance of precipitation comes on Wednesday when rain showers are likely; only in the higher elevation to the west will upslope snow showers be possible.{ } Some colder air is{ }expected at week's end, but as happened earlier this week,{ }the chill will be a{ }brief visitor.{ } Models show that warmer air will quickly return to its accustomed place in this unusual season.{ } Enjoy your Saturday!
