The warm front we have been talking about will lift north of the region today allowing milder air to pump in from the south! Highs will peak in the low to mid 70s under mixed sky. Rain will approach by late evening ahead of a potent cold front. Latest guidance suggests the bulk of the rain arrives after midnight meaning most trick or treaters remain dry. With that being said I cannot 100% rule out a highly isolated shower, especially west of I-81, but locally it will be more of the exception than the rule. Winds will pick up late in the day and carry into Friday. It will be wet and maybe a bit stormy early Friday before drier, cooler air arrives for the weekend. Have a great day and be safe tonight!
It is also time for your daily reminder that we return to Eastern Standard Time early Sunday morning. As always, the advice is to turn your clocks BACK 1 HOUR Saturday night before going to bed, as well as remembering to replace all of the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
