      It's a big flip-flop in temperatures today with a drastic temperature drop.{} The apparent temperature or "feel factor" will span about 60 degrees in the next 24 hours with about 50 degrees at 8a.m to about -10 Tuesday morning.{} Records lows are in jeopardy.{}

      Record Lows January 7th

      And we will likely break the record minimum high temperatures.{} The coldest high on Tuesday at Reagan National is 18 and at Dulles it is 21.{} I don't expect highs to get past 16.{} While it will look nice with sunshine this afternoon and Tuesday, we don't expect to get above freezing again until Thursday.{} When all is said in done, it will be the coldest blast to hit D.C. in 20 years.{} If the cold doesn't count, the week will be rather quiet. Next chance of rain on Friday.
