Washington, D.C. Weather Forecast: Muggy Madness for a Few Days
By Jacqui Jeras
This Afternoon:Partly Sunny with a few showers possible this afternoon Highs: Mid-Upper 80s Precipitation: 30% Tonight:Mostly Cloudy with a few showers Lows: Low 70s Precipitation: 20% Thursday:Partly Sunny with scattered showers and a few t-storms Highs: Upper 80s Precipitation: 40% I hope you all had a chance to see the beautiful moon last night or this morning. Fog and some clouds were an issue in a few spots. Skies will be partly sunny today. A weak disturbance moving overhead could trigger a shower late today and/or tonight. A cold front currently in the upper Midwest will be heading our way tomorrow and will more than likely trigger some showers and isolated thunderstorms, mainly after noon. Today's Forecast The timing on the passage of this front is a little uncertain. The European computer model wants to linger it into late Friday, but the GFS wants to kick it through before dawn on Friday. I'm siding with the GFS again today and feel it will sweep through more quickly and we will have a dry Friday. But, be prepared for the possibility of having to push that back a little. The weekend at this point is looking awesome. Lower humidity, slightly cooler temperatures and plenty of sunshine. Hope you join me today at noon for an update on ABC7.
