A strong line of thunderstorms plowed through the region last night leaving thousands without power this morning. It'll be another warm and muggy day with a risk of thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. Thunderstorms won't be quite as widespread in nature, as they were yesterday, but storms that develop could still contain strong wind gusts.
The cold front will stall SE of the area later tonight and will keep us slightly unstable tomorrow. Temperatures will reach the upper 80s with a 20% chance of storms firing over your neighborhood Thursday. Slightly drier air starts to filter in Friday, so you'll notice a bit lower humidity. Temperatures will also be in the mid-80s to end the work week. Weak high pressure builds in for Saturday before another approaching front triggers storms late Sunday.
