      Today will be{} the sixth consecutive day with measurable rainfall in D.C.{} but I'm happy to say it should be the last for a while. A flash flood watch is in effect from Noon until 10p.m.{} A cold front is approaching from the west and will bring in showers and isolated thunderstorms.{} They will track from south to north like yesterday and a few storms will dump heavy rain.{} The potential is there for an inch or two.{} Use caution driving around this afternoon and especially after dark tonight. Don't drive over water covered roads.{}

      The cold front will pass by about midnight tonight and clouds will gradually decrease in coverage.{} Plenty of sunshine is expected Saturday and Sunday both with lower humidity.{} Highs in the low to mid 80s for Dad's Day.{} Temperatures will start to heat up with increased mugginess on Monday.{} Storm chances return late Tuesday through Thursday.{} Today's fun fact if you haven't heard, is that it's not only Friday, the Thirteenth, but we also had a full moon this morning.{} It doesn't happen very often and it will be another 35 years before it happens again.{} It's called the honey moon or the strawberry moon.{} Hope you all have a great weekend!!!
