Tomorrow:Mostly Sunny, Still Frigid Highs: Low to Mid 20s Wind: NW 8-12 mph
Despite the fact that temperatures never got out of the teens yesterday, the brilliant sunshine and the chemical infused salt melted the snow and ice from many roadways. However with single digit readings this morning, icy areas will be a major concern! Another upper level disturbance associated with the next cold front heading this way will bring clouds and gusty breezes back to the region. Flurries and even more organized snow showers could develop during the day as highs peak only in the 20s. The temperatures will remain cold again on Friday under mostly sunny skies. Yet another disturbance will affect our area on Saturday with mainly cloudy skies with scattered flurries BUT temperatures could rise just above freezing during the afternoon. What can I say other than it’s winter in Washington. Stay warm and safe and have a great day!
