      { }{ } The Storm Prediction Center has put us in the slight risk category for severe weather Friday.{ } While I expect showers and some storms, I think just a few could produce damaging winds.{ } The most likely window for this to happen is between 9a and 1p in D.C. and points south and east.{ } Temperatures will be warmest in the morning on Friday, around 60.{ } It will become breezy and cooler with clearing skies in the afternoon.{ } After the front passes, it will make way for a pleasant weekend.{ } Highs in the mid 50s to around 60 with sunshine a just a few clouds.{ } Much cooler weather returns next week.
