A few showers and thunderstorms will dot radar this evening and into the overnight hours. While the risk for severe storms has greatly diminished, slower moving cells may producer periods of heavy rain and frequent lightning.
Tomorrow will again be very warm and humid with temperatures reaching the upper 80s. Storms are likely by afternoon as a cold front approaches from the west and northwest. Some storms will bring another round of gusty winds, downpours and frequent lightning. Flash flooding may be possible with slower moving cells. By Wednesday, cooler and less humid air arrives with abundant sunshine. Highs will be in the lower 80s.
